  Today’s trumpet is one of the world’s oldest instruments. It is the result of many centuries of

  Activity1: look and match

  Students are asked to look at the screen and match the words with pictures.

  Activity2: what’s missing

  Teacher covers some parts and lets students say what’s missing.

  Activity3: read the dialogues on the book and make a dialogue

  Students read the dialogues in pairs. Teacher makes a demonstration and students are encouraged to make a dialogue in groups. After that some students are invited to show their dialogue in front of the class. The rest choose which one is better.

  Group work: complete a form

  Students are asked to complete a form by asking their group members with the sentence pattern. Then students share their form with the whole class.

  设计意图:通过设置任务,让学生在“做中学,玩中学”,有效地为学生运用语言提供环境,更好地提高学生的综合语言运用能力。

  Step5: Summary

  Students summarize the language points they have learned in this lesson; teacher makes supplements and emphasizes the importance of eating fresh fruit.

  设计意图:学生能够在教师指导下梳理知识点。教师可以根据课堂活动查漏补缺,为下次的课程进行调整。

  Step6: Homework

  Homework1: finish the exercise in the book

  Homework2: search for the information about more fruit through the Internet and share with classmates next class.

  设计意图:明确家庭作业的开放性,让学生在家结合生活和所学习的语言知识进行练习和巩固。
